Being part of the first Worship Breakthrough "Your Kingdom Come" of the Jesus is Lord Church which was held last July 7, 2007 at The Arena, San Juan was a historical date for me, and I believe it is the same for all the JIL people who came to be part of the event.
Not only that, one should also note that the event date has significant meaning as July 7, 2007 or simply 777, is already the central focal point of the prophesied Pentecostal II of the 21st Century that begun last January 2007. The dynamic move will continue to intensify until October 2007, which all JIL people know, is our Church's 29th Anniversary Celebration. Just thinking about the first Pentecostal experience happening again in our time is an experience any Christian wouldn't want to miss.
Also a first is Sis. Edith Mendoza's participation in this breakthrough worship event which she also spearheaded together in cooperation with Musikatha Ministries Foundation, Inc and fully supported by the Central Pastors headed by its Director, Rev. Joey E. Crisostomo and the leadership, staff and members of Kristiyanong Kabataan para sa Bayan (KKB) and the JIL Central Music and Arts Team. Her witness after surviving her bout with cancer and her successful healing encounter created such an impact to the pastors, leaders and everyone present.

by almost 7,000 hungry worshipers, the venue was almost full during the early morning and the participants have to line up to get a seat, proof of the participant's anticipation on God's move in that special gathering. I was one of the excited attendees lined up at the entrance gates with excitement building in my Spirit, especially hearing the praising from within the walls of The Arena Everybody was overcome with their hunger for more of God rather than to complain in the long queue to get in.
When I finally stepped in, the very first thing that caught my attention was the “new feel for the event.” A round shape stage was created as centerpiece to match the breakthrough theme, signifying God's changing power in our lives has no boundaries, full of endless possibilities. The Praise and Worship songs led by the JAM (Jesus’ Army of Musicians) headed by songwriter, musical arranger, Pol Armesin, and by the VIA (Voices In Adoration) worship leaders, Dinah, Mike, Lea, Darwin, Joey and Glenda, completed the theme of the Breakthrough encounter.
Fresh revelations poured out from powerhouse speakers, Rev. Bobot Bernardo, Director for Education, who shared about "When Heaven Demands Worship"; Sis. Edith Mendoza, Chairman, Music Ministry, who walked us through Biblical understanding of the "Kairos: Breakthrough"; Bishop. Dan Balais, National Chairman, Intercessors For the Philippines who emphasized on "the Scepter of God"; Rev. Joey E. Crisostomo, Director for Central Operations, who exhorted on "Why the Fire Falls"; Rev. Dory J. Villanueva, Executive Director, on Signs of God’s Manifested Power; and Bro. Eddie C.Villanueva, Spiritual Director, who unveiled the principles of God for Prayer That Break Open the Heavens based on 2 Chronicles 7:14.
All of the speakers shared a new level of understanding about God's word, which aimed to encourage the army of God’s worshipers to be prepared to the new challenges demanded by a higher level of service and commitment to the Lord and to the country. The teachings were basic truths that were familiar to the participants but were given a new depth on how we should live our lives doing God’s will and following God’s move for this season.

Intermission songs were rendered by Sis. Joni Villanueva who serenaded us with “The Lord’s Prayer” and Bro. Diego Siongco, an 8 year old child with a very powerful voice, the winner of the Children's Festival, a joint project by JIL Children’s Ministry and Musikatha Ministries Foundation, Inc.
Inspirational greetings came from Congressman Joel J. Villanueva who was received prophetic prayers from Bishop Dan Balais that released upon him the challenge and the calling to uphold the scepter of God in our country.
The event was highlighted by the Prayer of Rededication of our Spiritual Director, with the special participatory prayers of Rev. Joey Crisostomo for recommitment and Ptr. Jhun Sibanico for total breakthrough in the area of San Juan, which was the historical sight for the start of the Philippine Revolution.
Due to the overwhelming success of the event, the Musikatha Group will be duplicating the same event in key cities all over the Philippines. They are expecting greater breakthroughs and "new seasons" in the life of all who will be part of it. (For an updated schedule of Worship Breakthrough Tour, click this
